Keith Brenner has over 30 years of professional structural engineering experience. At Casco Bay Engineering, Keith holds the title of Senior Structural Engineer and serves as a Structural Project Manager. Keith earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine in 1985. He is licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York.
Keith is highly proficient in 3D finite analysis and design, structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood, masonry, and cold-formed metal studs in the design of buildings. He also utilizes REVIT for BIM Modeling.
Keith has an innate ability to solve complex engineering challenges. At Casco Bay Engineering, Keith’s colleagues enjoy and benefit from his expertise, leadership, and mentoring capabilities. Throughout his career, these skillsets have been highlighted on numerous healthcare projects, educations facilities, commercial building, housing developments and athletic centers.
Keith was featured in STRUCTURE, a joint publication of NCSEA, CASE, and SEI in the January 2012 Concrete Issue. The article is called “Innovative Reinforcing Gives Old Structure New ‘Light’,” a project for MaineHealth with his previous employer, which showcased Keith’s expertise of and reverence for multifaced challenges when he engineered large opening in the existing two-way structural concrete slab utilizing carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) as reinforcement. The building was transformed, allowing an abundance a natural light to penetrate the interior via a large roof-top skylight. This structure was originally an 89,000 square foot Sears Roebuck Co. building, constructed in 1946.
Keith is currently the Structural Engineering Manager on behalf of Casco Bay Engineering for a multitude of confidential international airport projects throughout the country.

Keith is professionally affiliated with ASCE, SEAM, AISC and volunteers his time to Engineers Without Borders. When not at work, Keith frequently spends time with his family in Rangeley, Maine, where he continues renovation on his cabin.
