As part of the Joint Venture’s IDIQ Contract, multiple Task Orders at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, have been procured including the replacement design of the Shipyard’s infrastructure, specifically steam/ condensate/ compressed air lines and waterlines, in addition to rehabilitation of sewer and waterlines via innovated slip-lining techniques. At the US Navy’s Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE) School in Rangeley, Maine, the Joint Venture was tasked with civil/site evaluation and design of culverts for washed-out road conditions. Efforts included permitting preparations with Army Corps of Engineers and Maine Land Use Permitting Commission. The Joint Venture conducted a climate change risk review, coastal erosion mitigation analysis, and civil/site analysis with recommendations for hurricane, storm, and 100-year flood impacts, sea level change, on-site drawing infrastructure and permitting at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Cutler, in East Machias, Maine.
