The Downtown Auburn Transportation Center is located in Great Falls Plaza, in the heart of downtown Auburn. The facility provides an enclosed waiting area, a driver break room, and a utility room. FTA funds were accessed through Maine Department of Transportation with City of Auburn partially funding this project. All work and materials were to conform to the State of Maine Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and Buy America certification requirements. As Prime Consultant for this Transportation Center, Casco Bay Engineering provided Project Management, Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering services to develop the building from schematic design through contract drawing deliverables and into bidding support and Construction Phase services.
