Massachusetts Army National Guard – Regional Training Institute

The Regional Training Institute at Camp Edwards includes a new two-story 32,000 square foot Billet Building and 26,000 square foot Education Center for the Massachusetts Army National Guard (ARNG). The purpose of the $17.4 million facility is to provide a means to plan, program and conduct ARNG training sessions for the region. The two-story Education Center includes classrooms, administration space, multi-purpose space, lounges, library and auxiliary spaces. The new buildings are sized to support 50 full-time administrators and instructors with 94 students. Casco Bay Engineering provided Structural Engineering design, utilizing Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) design criteria in accordance with the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) for the Department of Defense.
